Description : Kelly Scientific Resources currently has a 6 month
Foods and Nutrition Consultant position available at a very reputable company
in the Twin Cities. Responsibilities: Assist with: scientific literature
reviews assessments; development of health nutrition messages; development of
preclinical and clinical studies Accountabilities: Utilize food and nutrition science
knowledge to develop messages and product opportunities for product
portfolio. Educate internal stakeholders on health and nutrition related
topics. Evaluate scientific evidence and make appropriate recommendations for
product messages, new products/technologies. Evaluate and recommend research
opportunities related to role of food and food components on human health and
well-being. Collaborate to develop and implement health and nutrition
research. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree minimum,
PhD degree in Foods and Nutrition or Nutrition preferred Certifications: Registered Dietitian preferred Skills/Experience: Sound fundamental understanding of
health and nutrition. Broad interest in science and application to health and
nutrition. Ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple concurrent
tasks. Ability to build and manage effective relationships, with internal and
external partners Competencies/Behaviors: Good problem solving skills Ability
to assimilate synthesize and communicate scientific knowledge quickly and
effectively. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Good project
management skills. Strong team player, with demonstrated commitment to team
