Job Summary:

Manage cross-functional projects with various departments to develop alternate suppliers and specifications for new ingredients. Performs the duties and responsibilities of the position consistent with the mission and values of Panda Restaurant Group, Inc.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and test alternative suppliers that can deliver parity or better quality
- Develop and communicate timeliness for product tests and rollouts
- Manage and lead projects from initiation to the rollout phase
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Operations regarding People, Guest, & Financial impacts
- Create and maintain product test, charts, and follow up schedules
- Conduct and assemble critical paths for testing and national rollouts

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Culinary Arts
- 3 to 5 years in product development, food processing, or quality assurance related industry is required
- Familiarity with standard laboratory protocol
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
- Familiarity with a variety of food and packaging products is recommended
- Experience managing multiple projects and interacting effectively with a variety of people

- Achievement of annual project objectives
