Job Description

Research & Development Food Scientist:

Responsibilities include:

  • Duplicating and developing new seasoning blends for all phases of the food industry.
  • Monitoring new products from bench top to production scale-up.
  • Providing customers with samples and technical documentation.
  • Some travel required to assist sales force and attend trade shows.
  • Supervising/training R&D personnel and laboratory technicians.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with all phases of operations and sales.
  • Good communication skills/ability to interact with customers.
  • Good supervisory skills to create a productive work environment.

Education/Experience Required:

  • Degree in Food Science or Related field and/or 5+ years experience in the spice/seasoning industry working in research and development.

Salary commensurate with experience.
