
Food Technologist - Gaffney SC
Food Technologist (FT) is responsible for activities
related to successful commercialization, launch, and formal acceptance of new
products, reformulations, product transfers, and line transfers. Individual
works to ensure consumer trust and preference by aligning products with
Nestle essential quality attributes and sensory requirements. FT conveys a
zero-defect, no waste attitude by initiating and implementing cost savings,
and quality and process improvement projects. Scope of work includes food
safety and full compliance in the coordination and execution of product and
process trials, the development and maintenance of recipes, and compliance
monitoring. Quality commitment shown by accurately and thoroughly reporting
results, communicating effectively, participating on continuous improvement teams,
and meeting or exceeding individual goals within established timelines. - BS in Food Science, Food & Nutrition, or related
