Job Description

Education: 4-year degree required; Food Safety discipline preferred.

Required skills: • 7+ years experience in food materials management, production planning, and inventory control; • 2+ years experience as a member of a plant leadership management team; • Food Safety certified (AIB, SCS, SGS, Primus, Davis Fresh, or Silliker); • Working knowledge of MRP concepts and ERP-based production and replenishment planning techniques; • APICS CPIM preferred.

Job Description: This key plant position will be responsible for integrating food safety processes into a highly effective plant supply chain system. Duties include: • Designing and implementing a long-term plant food safety supply chain strategy; • Developing and maintaining aneffective MRP system fully integrated through the current and future ERP system; • Managing the supply chain budget; • Providing education for site personnel; • Championing and driving continuous improvement in supply and value chain; • Managing key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs); • Leading various commercial and supply chain projects.
