Assist in the Sensory Laboratory with evaluation of Tillamook
dairy products.
Essential duties to include:
Responsible for the evaluation of
dairy products through the senses of sight, smell, touch and taste.
Record findings of evaluation results in Excel or specialized
databases.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
High School diploma is required.
Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field is preferred.
1 year experience in dairy
sensory or working lab is preferred.

Abilities:
Ability to establish and maintain
effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general
public.
Ability to communicate
effectively.
Must be a team player and be able
to interact with staff at all levels of the company.
Must be computer literate with
intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Specialized
database i.e. ERP systems such as NAV or Navision is preferred.
SharePoint is a plus.
Licenses and/or Certifications:
Forklift Certification upon hire.
Physical Requirements:
Pre-work physical exam and
sensory sensitivity testing is required.
Duties may include repetitive
motion of hands and lifting up to 45 pounds.
Ability to operate a forklift
safely.
Fulltime, union position with
benefits. Wage is $15.91 to $19.79 depending on experience and/or
education.
