Description	The District Manager is a management position on the Operations team reporting to the Regional Manager. The primary focus of this position is to organize, motivate and lead a highly calibrated Quality Management Specialist team. In addition, the District Manager must possess an in-depth understanding of the food safety business, Steritech protocols and procedures and specific customer brand requirements to ensure a high level of service to the client and to facilitate excellent communication to the team. Essential Job Duties  Calibrate Specialists at required frequency to ensure quality of service  Hire and train new Specialists  Provide performance and career development feedback to Specialists  Perform a minimum of 30 hours of audits per month  Ensure all audits are conducted on time within District  Verify that Specialists are optimizing their time, travel and costs  Expeditiously respond to complaints and requests for information  Maintain expert knowledge of Food Code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and specific customer brand requirements  Establish and maintain effective professional and consultative relationships at all levels throughout the organization  Maintain the confidence of key client contacts in order to retain and increase the volume and quality of business allocated to Steritech.  Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements	Position Requirements  Must have at least 2 years experience managing a team and at least 1 of the following:  Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Environmental Health  Bachelor's degree with at least two (2) years experience in food protection  Associate's degree with at least four (4) years experience in food protection  High School Diploma/GED with at least five (5) years experience in food protection Also required:  Experience training employees or groups  A valid driver's license and good driving record  Excellent computer skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required  This position requires overnight travel; Up to 75% or 15 days a month. Candidates must be willing to travel by car on a daily basis and by plane as needed Desired Skills and Experience  Experience in conducting audits or working in a Quality Assurance capacity a plus  ServSafe, CP-FS, REHS/RS Certification(s) a plus  Consistent travel experience in a current or previous position a plus  Strong verbal and written communication skills  Candidates must be well organized and comfortable working independently  Strong technical knowledge of food safety is preferred The Steritech Group, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
