·         Provide technical guidance and input on green coffee origins in conjunction with product development. Translate green types into product development opportunities.

·         Cupping / defects evaluation and flavor development

·         Bench top and pilot plant product development for new coffee concepts

·         Design and lead plant trials to commercialize new and quality / cost saving initiatives

·         Create and manage specifications

·         Commercialize / start up products

·         Work collaboratively with packaging, quality, operation, marketing, sales, and finance

Qualifications

·         Master’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or equivalent and 4 years of green coffee & product development experience; or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or equivalent with green coffee & product development experience

Travel:

·         20- 30%

·         Glenview, conferences, countries of origin, plant trials
