Safety Business Partner trains, coaches and follows up with store teams and
field leaders to deliver improved food safety results while establishing
food safety cultures within our stores.
The Food Safety Business Partner will accomplish his or her core roles
FAST, FUN AND FRIENDLYSM TEAM
- Creates a culture and awareness
of Food Safety in our stores
- Coaches and trains store teams
on food safety best practices and create a culture of awareness and
- Reviews red food safety focus
store visit list with Field Leadership (GML, FBP) and determines plans
- Conducts routine store visits
to coach, train and assess stores as well as identify process gaps
- Effectively communicates
meaningful feedback to leadership teams (including HQ partners)
- Leverages reporting results to
identify and address group/market opportunities
- Trains and coaches the team to
deliver safe and fresh food to the guest all day, every day
FAST, FUN AND FRIENDLYSM SERVICE
- Models exceptional guest
- Builds internal and external
partnerships and responds to issues/concerns in a quick and effective
- Ensures team follows all
cleaning, sanitation, personal hygiene and uniform standards
- Ensure department salesfloor and backrooms are clean and organized
- Ensure the teams execute
accurate labeling that mitigate allergen and legal risks
- Leads a regulatory and
compliance culture that mitigates legal risk
- Coaches, trains and follows up
on execution of Country of Origin Labeling (COOL)
- Trains and coaches teams to use
tools and processes for optimum food safety standards
- Analyzes store food safety
assessment scores to determine the most impactful store visit list
- Visit Red Food Safety Focus
Stores; confirm audit assessment results & evaluate the extent of
the Food Safety opportunity
- Review individual store action
plan with STL to ensure action will be take and results improved
- Perform follow up visits and
evaluations to validate progress
- Escalate on going concerns to
Regional Food Safety Managers and Field Leadership where progress is
not being made
- Partner with Regional Food
Safety Managers to resolve any regulatory issues or concerns
- Assists with any new or remodel
store Food Safety needs
Reporting and Working Relationships
Reports to Regional Food Safety Manager. Works closely with field
leadership (DTL, GML, FBP), store leadership and
- College degree or equivalent
experience (blend of college and leadership experience totaling four
- CP-FS (Certified Professional
of Food Safety) -- must pass required certification test in order to
complete learning period.
