The R&D Food Technologistís main responsibility is to create fantastic
new products from concept to manufacturing. We are looking for someone who
is technical and culinary as well as flexible and open to change where
priorities shift from day to day. The job holder will support the product
development process by participating in our ideation sessions and being a
team leader for your projects. You must maintain accuracy of formulations,
processes and product specifications. You will find support and be part of
our dynamic team working with QA, Operations, Procurement, Marketing,
Design, & Finance.
Develop great new products
from concept through commercialization while meeting timelines.
Ability to lead projects and
work in a team.
Coordinate, organize, and
conduct internal cuttings/sensory evaluation panels. Interpret the
results and issue reports, including recommendations.
Create & ensure accuracy
of nutrition facts panels, ingredient declarations for new and/or
Provide technical support and
collaborate with Operations to develop and test formulas and processes
that will emulate the approved test kitchen formula.
Maintain accuracy of
formulations, processes and product specifications.
Be a proactive investigator
and problem solver on issues that arise.
Love being creative and have
Minimum 3 years
experience in food industry or related industry
Proficient in Excel, Word and
Familiar with the ESHA
Genesis labeling program
Excellent communicator both
written and verbal
BS Degree/Minimum 4 year
technical degree preferably Food Science or related field.
Certified in Better Process
Control or Acidified Foods school; nice to have but not necessary
