QC Food Science- Kearny, NJ
Our Client is looking for a QC food
science candidate. They want someone who is familiar with HACCP and SQF's.
This is a temp to perm position.
Job Description:
This job requires the maintenance and implementation of SQF (safety quality
food) program as well as other in house programs already in place.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Maintain current programs such as HACCP, SQF, SOPs
SOPs such as receiving raw materials
Work with USDA inspectors as well as outside auditors and contractors
Communicate with daily management as well as first and second shift team
members
Take the plant from SQF level 2 to level 3
Document as required
Follow up as needed
Training and testing of new employees
Finished good product analysis
Work with outside laboratories for product analysis
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in food safety, microbiology, food science, or related
field
HACCP certified
SQF certified
Strong organizational and leaderships skills
Good problem solving skills
Computer skills
Flexible work schedule
