Job Summary
Support product and process development projects, which will lead to new or modified products in support of the Innovation Process of the company. Deployment of innovations, renovation, business continuity and product Value Improvement Process into Factory. Attendance and technical support at innovation capability trials; trouble shooting and problem solving with Supply Chain process teams. Plan and execute technical activations of innovations.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assessment of technical feasibility from a product/process standpoint and identification of product/process related issues such as new and unique ingredients or feasibility based on current plant capabilities.
Identification of formulation, ingredients, shelf life, process conditions and lead times.
Development of specifications for new raw materials, new or modified processes and finished products.
Participation in plant trials and adjustments as needed to products and processes.
Management of transition from development into the supply chain. Providing orientations, new testing methods and direction to operations and plant QA Department to expedite commercialization.
Support of supply chain improvement projects including troubleshooting activities where product/process knowledge is essential.
Interaction with and effective leveraging of background research facilities.
Supply management support for alternative suppliers and raw materials.

Key Requirements
B.S., M.S. in Food Science, Food and Nutrition, Food Engineering or equivalent degree and 2 to 5 years in a food related position. Tea or nutritional fortified product/process development experiences preferred.

Strong project management and excellent communication and documentation skills required. Flexibility to deal with modifications and pressure to meet deadlines of cross functional team. Ability to manage multiple projects and set appropriate timelines for each.
