Job Summary
|
Lead
research and development projects and technology initiatives. Independently
conceive, plan, and conduct research to influence scientific knowledge and
technological developments at ConAgra. Assess feasibility of proposed
experimental approaches, techniques or equipment. Carry out complex or
novel assignments and develop new and/or improved techniques and
procedures. Candidate will be expected to produce high impact inventions
and patents. Recruit, supervise and develop assigned personnel. Travel up
to 25% of the time may be required.

Position Qualifications
|
Education
& Training:
Position requires, at a minimum, a Master’s Degree in Food Science or a
related field.
Experience:
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in food science or a related
field. Experience in leading research and development projects, with
demonstrated ability to propose new research approaches and serve as the
technical expert for a corporation. For a candidate with a Ph.D., five (5)
years of experience in food science is acceptable.
