Position Summary:

Teach Food Manufacutring Science courses during the 2012 Spring Semester. Approximately 16-20 hours per week.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Teach Food Manufacturing Science courses.

Responsible for classroom management, student evaluation, and records maintenance.

Obtain and maintain certification through the Wisconsin Technical College System.


Bachelor’s Degree in a science related and appropriate field – OR – Bachelor’s Degree equivalent based on verified work experience in the occupation combined with appropriate education and training totaling 7 years (14,000 hours); Master’s Degree preferred.

2 years (4,000 hours) of recent, related occupational experience outside the field of education, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.

Must meet Wisconsin Technical College System certification requirements.

Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required.

Must be able to demonstrate good organizational skills, positive interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills in educating adult learners.

Dependent upon qualifications but consistent with current salary schedule.
