This person will have
accountability for formula management systems and document processes that
support product development through managing information transfer from the
kitchen to the manufacturing plants. Additionally this person will provide
support to multiple aspects of technical documentation for R&D and
therefore must be highly proficient in R&D formula and documentation
systems and related Business Processes. Assignments are of moderate
complexity and technical risk that could be a part of a larger effort and
may be a part of a larger multidisciplinary team. Work is performed with

B.Business Process Development:
Proficient or ability to
become proficient on all relevant software systems/applications such
as Optiva, and SAP
Ability to leverage system
knowledge to organize and streamline different types of technical
documentation for enhanced department efficiency.
Understand the Optiva business flow process and collaborate on
teams for process improvement.
C..End User Support:
Coach new PD users on Optiva, and SAP systems and serve as a coach,
teaching best practices in the development of formulas, procedures
Communicate closely with
Packaging, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing to
maintain up-to-date project information and priorities.
Possess a strong knowledge of
formula formats and terminology.
Must have foundational
knowledge of Manufacturing Systems and associated Processes.
• Must work with the PD Technologists to understand and evaluate the
impact of formula changes on associated documentation.
Requires the development of
data queries and results interpretation in both Optiva
Must be able to reach out to
various functional groups within the organization when
developing/modifying formulas, procedures & specifications.
Must engage the PD
Technologists and Managers in the formula management system
preparation and approvals.
Must be able to deal with
ambiguity, adapt quickly to change and persevere. In addition, the job
requires the ability to identify critical path items and risks, and
effectively communicate these to the business team and management
BS in Food
Science/Biology/Life Sciences. Qualified candidate could have Quality
documentation management experience or QA data analysis experience.
3 years relevant experience
Work effectively in team
environment and communicate effectively both verbal and in writing
with cross-functional teams and R&D management.
