Food Safety Specialist

The primary focus of this position is to provide administrative support to the Director or Real Estate, Construction & Maintenance and VP of Organization & Development, to include reporting, planning and organizing meetings and other functions, and other administrative duties. This individual is responsible for providing administrative support, assisting with real estate and legal matters, and assisting with managing Organizational Development and Human Resources documents, while meeting Coborn’s Wildly Important Goals of being the Best Place to Work and Best Place to Shop.

Associate's degree in Business or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and three to five years related experience in commercial real estate, legal and/or human resources; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Demonstrate good judgment and decision making skills. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate proficiency with Excel, and email systems. Ability to perform internet-based research and tasks.
