Safety/Food
Safety Specialists provide direct safety and food safety support to
distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and transportation
operations.
Perform and document
prevention and compliance based safety and food safety assessments for
multiple locations.
Develop and conduct
safety/food safety prevention and compliance training for leadership
and hourly Team Members.
Provide regulatory compliance
assistance and follow-up to multiple locations.
Serve as a single point of
contact for safety and food safety related questions and
recommendations.
Manage the Process Safety
Management and Risk Management programs for assigned locations.
Coordinate programs with appropriate internal and external resources.
Review all safety and food
safety programs on an annual basis and develop action plans for any
improvement opportunities.
Review all incident reports,
provide assistance in conducting investigations and root cause
analysis as required due to frequency/severity/potential.
Participate in, provide
support for, and mentor facility safety committees.

assigned.
