Senior Sanitation and Safety Specialist

Position 79011320



This position is located in the Division of Hotels and Restaurants and conducts sanitation and safety inspections of hotels and restaurants and investigations of food-borne illness complaints.


Preference will be given to applicants with:

1) Bachelor's degree in a health related field; or

2) Bachelor's degree (in any field) & 1 year industry-related management experience; or

3) 5 or more years of industry-related management experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the Bachelor's degree.


Knowledge of laws and rules pertaining to sanitation and safety inspections. Experience in a variety of inspection activities.

Ability to work on a team and participate in team activities.

This position requires a security background check.
