Job Description :
Responsible for overseeing food safety affairs and for executing the food safety programs for the shift. Assists the Food Safety Manager as the onsite food safety and regulatory authority at the facility. This position drives the execution of food safety systems at the plant by developing, modifying and maintaining the plant's HACCP, SSOP, and regulatory programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for the production of safe and wholesome food.

§ Bachelor of Science Degree required.
§ Three (3) years of experience in the Meat Industry preferred.
§ Good communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
§ HACCP Certification required.
§ Ability to utilize influence and persuasion skills to achieve desired results.
§ Excellent communication skills required.
§ Proof of innovative thinking to create novel solutions preferred.
§ Ability to priortize project and set goals.
§ Systematic approach to problem solving.
