Description:
Sodexo at the
Tennessee Cook Chill has a Manager of Food Safety position
open. This position will have the responsibility of overseeing
and maintaining the highest possible quality assurance and food
safety programs at the Tennessee Cook-Chill Food Production
Facility. The candidate must have a Degree in Science, Food
Related Field, Business or Similar Field with an emphasis in
Food. The candidate must also have HACCP, USDA Accreditation
and also be a Certified Instructor of ServSafe®.
The position is responsible for assuring safe, high quality
food products for our receptor sites. Central to this will be
the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points Plan which
encompasses on-site microbial analysis, environmental testing,
U.S.D.A. sanitary standard operational procedures (SSOP) and
pre-operational inspections, quality control tagging,
performing product evaluations, overseeing good manufacturing
practices, verifying labels of finished products, conducting
shelf life studies, calibrating equipment weekly, and training
employees on food safety and HACCP procedures. ~cb~

Position Summary:Ensures corporate and regulatory
compliance for the company's quality assurance and food safety
initiatives by pro-actively providing technical expertise,
training, and support across Divisions at the regional level.
This position is also responsible for managing the crisis
resolution process in a timely manner.
