Part-time Scientific/Food Science Opportunity!
Adecco Engineering and Technical is recruiting a Product Development
Technician with a scientific background to work in the test kitchen for
recipe formulation of a world leader in nutrition and health, located in
Solon, OH. Hours will be 1st shift, about 10-30 hours per week, depending on
the week. Hours may be flexible and employees will be called to work
depending on the number of hours available.
This is a long-term contract/temporary position, and a great chance to gain
experience that may lead to future employment opportunities.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with food and recipe development
Cooking recipes in a test kitchen
Weighing ingredients
Assembling packaging and setting up products for panels
Reconstituting food in microwaves
Kitchen clean-up
Qualifications include:
Degree in a Scientific field, such as Food Science, Nutrition, Mathematics,
Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology OR equivalent lab experience
Some experience with cooking is preferred
Strong interest in working with recipes, food, and cooking
Ability to correctly read recipes, measure ingredients, and follow directions
Flexibility on hours
