Job Description :

Kelly Scientific Resources is working on a great opportunity for a Food Science Technician. Our client is a manufacturer of natural ingredients for the food and dietary supplement industries. They are currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist to assist them in Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Research and Development.
They are looking for an individual to:

  • Perform lab work carrying out physical and chemical analysis
  • Prepare technical documentation
  • Assist Senior R&D Application Scientist for color and flavor related application work
  • Assist customers with technical issues

In order to qualify for consideration, you must have a BA/BS in Food Science, Chemistry or related science. Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced environment AND:

  • Be able to multi-task
  • Be able to operate chemical laboratory instrumentation
  • Be familiar with the use of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Be detail oriented
  • Have knowledge of QC procedures
  • Have excellent documentation skills

Individuals with knowledge of color application, familiarity with nutraceutical products and their applications and experience with HPLC (in addition to the aforementioned qualifications) are highly desired and encouraged to apply.
