Our Research
& Development organization is looking to fill a number of 12 month Post
Doctoral Nutrition/Food Scientist positions that will be located in one of
our research/innovation centers located in Ohio. The purpose of these
positions are to develop formulations, technical formulation models, and
novel ingredients/new materials. The understanding of ingredient
functionality and its impact on nutrient delivery, taste, flavor/aroma,
texture, and nutritional profile are necessary to deliver high quality
nutrition while maintaining a positive consumer experience. The
candidate will work closely with Products Researchers (i.e. consumer
experts) and the Process Development community to design these formulations
and models.

Qualifications
The successful
candidate will have the ability to develop technical models to relate
ingredient properties and process conditions to functional benefits, and to
lead technical projects and create project direction, driving project
to successful implementation. The candidate will also have a
background that has utilized broad approaches to projects and has exhibited
ability to collaborate across disciplines and externally to deliver against
project goals.
A PhD in Food
Science, Food Processing, or Nutrition is required. Open to other
related discipline (e.g. Chemical Engineering) depending on candidate
experience.
