As a Consumer Safety
Inspector (CSI), you will ensure that regulated
Meat and Poultry
establishments produce a safe product by executing
appropriate inspection
methods, determining noncompliance with
regulatory
requirements, documenting noncompliance, and initiating
enforcement action,
where warranted. The "Food
Conservation and
Energy Act of
2008", also referred to as the "2008 Farm Bill", was
signed into Law on
June 18, 2008. The Farm Bill amends
the Federal
Meat Inspection Act
(FMIA) to include Catfish as an amenable species
under the Act.
