the food safety and specifications of products and processes by
establishing and enforcing quality policies, procedures and standards. The
QA Manager directs activities of the QA department in a manner consistent
with the standard operation procedures of the Company.
the activities of the QA Department and assures effective application of
product/process monitoring, testing, validation and controls.
-Manages plant function in complying with USDA regulatory guidelines and
foster a good working relationship by acting as USDA liaison. Facilitates
communication between outside agencies
Skill Levels and Work Experience:
Degree, in Food Science, Food Technology, Animal Science, Biology,
Microbiology, Meat Science or closely related discipline. Graduate level
-5 to 7 years previous experience as a Quality
Assurance Supervisor or 3 to 5 years experience
as a QA Manager, in a food processing / manufacturing environment. Meat
processing or poultry industry experience preferred.
Skill Levels and Work Experience:
-Demonstrated technical knowledge in Quality Processes and systems
including but not limited to: SPC, HACCP, SSOP GMPs.
-Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
-Ability to communicate with all levels of staff within the organization.
-Capable of communicating in a professional, tactful yet firm and

-Uses basic math and statistic knowledge to assess data and determine
-Manages multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritizes work
-Conduct root cause analysis for preventive measures (determine why
