Description
Over the past decades, Grupo Bimbo has acquired
bakeries in the United States and brought them together to form Bimbo
Bakeries USA, which today is the leading baker in the continental US.
Carlisle Foods, Inc. is one of these baking facilities which was acquired in January 2009. BBUSA produces such
brands as Entenmann's, Thomas', Maier's, Freihofer's,
Stroehmann, Arnold, Brownberry
and Boboli. Currently, we are seeking a Quality Systems Manager in
our donut facility in Carlisle, PA.
Responsibilities include monitoring product from supplier to sales depot
and processes related to ingredient/product receipt, testing, handling,
storage, conversion, and tracking as well as customer complaint resolution,
customer, government and internal audits.
Qualified candidate must lead and manage with a systemic and proactive
approach to both Food Safety and Quality. Must be able to identify
the root cause of all issues and implement solutions that permanently
reduce the risk of product failure. Resolution will include the
development of standards, the design and execution of audit programs, the
investigation of process failures and the execution of action plans.
The candidate will work closely with divisional Quality Systems
Manager on initiatives and program creation.
Position
Requirements
BA or BS degree (preferably in food science, biology or chemisty)
or equivalent experience in a manufacturing quality control/quality
assurance position. Previous experience in a Union setting preferred.
Proficient in MS Office Programs. Experience in SPC (IPM or other
total quality management programs). Experience in ISO.
