Our Client who is a
food manufacturer is looking to bring on an R & D Food Technologist
for their location. The Food Technologist position manages and
conducts the technical aspects of the product development process.
Duties:
Manages and Conducts
testing process for new and existing product lines,and packaging materials to ensure
quality throughout the product life cycle.
Assist in development of
ingredient statements and nutrition facts panels for new products
in support or R & D Specialist.
Participate in test
kitchen functions i.e. shipping of samples, presentations
Meet Customers request
expectations for training at their facilities including travel out
of state which may include air traveles
Communicates with R&D
Technicians to accurately maintain data generated in preparation
and completion of requested samples.
Participate in Sensory
Evaluations
Manage technicians
Assist with planning and
implementation of special projects, customer presentations etc.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
B.S in Food Science and
or Food Technology or significant job experience in Food Science /
Food Technology
