matter expertise in the field of Food Safety in the capacity of an Item
Reviewer. Item Reviewers will be reviewing Food Safety questions and
ensuring that the language translations of the questions are scientifically
and linguistically accurate.
Item Review is both an art and a science. Prometric
can provide you with the science of and tools for reviewing items
(questions). However, the essence to the art of item review stems from the
Subject Matter Expert possessing:
• a mastery of the subject matter being tested
• a rational and well developed set of thinking processes to determine what
is MOST important to test
• the ability to relate to the individual for whom the test is intended
• strong verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
• Review previously written 4-option multiple choice questions for
scientific and linguistic accuracy and appropriateness

Required Skills
• 3 or more years of experience in Food Safety
• Fluency in one of the following languages: Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean or
Chinese
Compensation
• Subject Matter Experts will be compensated at a rate of $25 per hour
