Job Description:
Direct responsibility for the overall foodservice and operational safety in a
corporate dining account. Personally accountable for the overall safety
behaviors of the account. Operates the department in accordance with the
approved Quality Assurance standards, while providing the Client with a
safety first facility. Ensures that the food and service offered to the
client, customers, and employees of the operation is of superior safety. Directs
and conducts safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs. Maintains
excellent relationships with employees, guests and Client as well a other departments within the
operation. Promotes the professional growth and development of the entire
team. In addition, foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate
the dining service department with the facility safety program.
Responsibilities:
Implement the safety program in each district through the efforts of
management, safety champs and associates.
Provide safety training to new associates and ongoing behavioral based
training.
Ensure that active Safety Committee(s) are in place at applicable sites
Conduct site safety assessments and provide follow up reports
Track and present safety performance as requested by management and client
Conduct incident investigations with management
Assist in creating safety awareness programs that are geared toward
prevention
Necessary Skills:
Maintain ServSafe Certification (90% or higher)
(within 90 days as per Compass Standard)
Attention to detail and ability to help managers to find solutions
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills; professionalism
Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio, Power
Point and Outlook.
Recognize QA requirements for equipment, facilities and vendors
