GENERAL
DESCRIPTION of RESPONSIBILITY
The
Technician positions, under the guidance provided by the Group Supervisors
or chemists as designated, and in a safe, legal and ethical manner, to
analytical support to chemists, analytical chemists, senior chemists for
samples preparations, analytical testing, analytical records and equipment
records, etc. in supporting the company’s goal of providing to our clients
with accurate, timely and cost effective service.
SPECIFIC
RESPONSIBILITIES
·
Under supervision of Group Supervisors, designated Sr. Chemist
or chemist, to perform testing service in accordance with GMP guidelines,
as well as the internal QSM, SOPs and SAMs, and to apply adequate quality
control measure to ensure that data generate meet the method requirements
and industrial standards.

Under supervision, to deduce and perform statistical analyses
of analytical data as necessary.
·
To follow procedures and guidance of Supervisor to qualify and
calibrate analytical equipment used for daily research and testing as
necessary.
·
To perform samples and chemicals receiving as designated from
time to time.
·
To perform samples preparation according to established
procedures.
·
To prepare reagents and solution for testing by technicians
and chemists.
·
To document all testing data in a neat notebook.
·
To perform inventory management as necessary or assigned.
·
To perform house keeping works as
needed/designated.
·
To maintain safety practices in all aspects of lab operations.
·
To carry out the above responsibilities, and all others which
may be assigned, in a manner demonstrating support for and adherence to the
Company’s Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Policy and Procedures,
Ethics Policy, Environmental Management System, Vision and Strategy, and to
exercise good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy.
REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
·
This is a professional position, which is expected to have an
associate or B.S. degree in the field of chemistry, biological and food
sciences or related fields.
·
Ability to follow protocol, procedure and safety guides to
perform lab testing.
·
Must be highly organized and attention to details in testing
and recording.
