The Quality and Food Safety Services Coordinator will coordinate and report all site Q&FS data collection, data storage and retrieval, data manipulation, and reporting for the site. The role will coordinate the internal audit program with Supply to ensure all processes are audited. This role will also assure all internal and external sampling requirements are executed and delivered to meet site requirements based on our positive release program and assist with the hold/release management program. The role will assist with the implementation of QMP requirements as well as Q&FS policies and processes as directed by The Nutro Company.
ˇ Daily input of all Q&FS data.
ˇ Create and provide training for all site Q&FS reporting tools.
ˇ Publishing all site daily, period, quarterly, and annual Q&FS and MSQM reports.
ˇ Manage the site's electronic Q&FS data to drive Continuous Improvement.
ˇ Prepare and lead all visual information for the site's Daily Assessment Panel.
ˇ Assist in training requirements for all site associates related to Q&FS.
ˇ Manage site retain samples inventory as required by QMP.
ˇ Manage the purchasing process for Q&FS (laboratory equipment repairs, testing, and supplies).
ˇ Manage all Q&FS hard copy records retention according to QMP.
ˇ Communicate with outside laboratories and other services for data return and inquiries.
ˇ Demonstrate a food safety quality culture in actions, words, and spirit.
ˇ Be actively engage with site management to insure all requirements are met for QMP programs.
ˇ Facilitate compliance of the QMP as well as Nutro's policies, procedures and specifications by the site as outlined by R&D.
ˇ Every associate at The Nutro Company and Developing Petcare has the responsibility for the achievement of quality and food safety.

ˇ Proven application of engineering principles, laboratory methodologies, food science, statistics, and quality tools.
ˇ High School Diploma or equivalent.
ˇ 3 years experience in a quality and/or food safety role with a FMCG business.
ˇ Demonstrated leadership in a team work environment.
ˇ Strong understanding of quality and food safety processes and procedures.
ˇ Computer proficient with SPC software and Office Suite.
ˇ Working knowledge of food science, health and nutrition, food manufacturing processes, and quality assurance principles.
ˇ Bachelor's Degree (Food Science, Engineering or a related field) or equivalent.
