We are
seeking an experienced scientific professional to join the executive
management team of FSNS in San Antonio, TX. This position will report
to the CEO and have direct responsibilities over all scientific affairs
impacting the business and laboratory operations, quality assurance, and
technical training. The position requires an inherent customer
service focus, good management skills and appreciation for performance
management. This person will be an integral part of the senior
management decision making team and will have impact in the direction and
growth of FSNS. In addition, our VP will be a representative at
scientific conferences, networking within the regulatory and scientific
community in the food industry.
Requirements:
- M.S. degree in Food
Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
- PhD. strongly preferred
- 10 years of direct related
expertise with multiple food matrices in a senior management position
- 10 years of industrial food
safety and quality assurance experience is preferred
- Advanced studies in food
science and/or microbiological analysis
- Experience with managing a
technical services team
- Worked in a progressive
customer service focus business environment
- Or equivalent combination of
education and experience
