Land O'Lakes Dairy
Foods division is a leading marketer of a full line of dairy-based
consumer, foodservice and food ingredient products across the United
States. This division also includes Global Dairy Ingredients that sells a
portfolio of value-added dairy ingredients (specialty powders, milk
powder, cheese, butter and whey) and offers expertise to large
international customers.
Position
Purpose:
Support analytical testing in the areas of Protein,
Lipids, Total Solids and Routine chemistry to meet analytical laboratory
objectives and goals. Perform analyses by following written standard
operating procedures while maintaining ISO 17025 requirements. Ensure
equipment and laboratory areas are clean organized, and equipment is well
maintained. Maximize efficiency through team collaboration to increase
productivity while meeting customer expectations. Participate and promote
continuous improvement efforts within the laboratory.
Qualifications
Experience-Education
(Required):
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or food science
Competencies-Skills (Required):
Perform laboratory testing according to written
SOPs
Able to prioritize daily workload
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience-Education (Preferred):
Experience in a lab setting in food industry or
related field
Competencies-Skills (Preferred):
Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment
Proficiency in instrument-related software
