working with a grower/shipper/packer in CA who seeks a Quality Assurance
Manager to be responsible for the management and guidance of the Division
of Food Safety.
The QA Manger will oversee compliance of all facets of food safety
regulations and will report directly to the Food Safety Director.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Supervise implementation of
the corporate food safety program.
Strong management skills.
Hands-on ability to work with
Must have demonstrated
excellent interpersonal human relations and teaming skills.
Must be flexible and able to
deal with a variety of details simultaneously.
Ensure that the proper
procedures are used for in house testing for pathogens on our products
and vendor products
Ensure proper sanitation and
maintenance of all corporate facilities using corporate procedures and
Inform General Managers of
any issues and needed corrective actions for food safety
Food safety audits
Coordinate with other zone
areas when problems arise and take action in correcting the problem.
With respect to the company
food safety rules ensure the procedures are followed at all times.
Respond to all requests for
information in regards to food safety
experience supervising in packing house sanitation
Knowledge of HAACP
SQF certified preferred
Bilingual in English/Spanish
Microbiology degree or
related lab experience
Salary $60,000-$80,000, Medical & Dental Benefits, 401K, Vacation
