Title	FOOD SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Description	This position will be tasked with the responsibility for managing corrective actions through regular status reports, with more direct involvement in leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions related to the more critical nonconformances. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Management and reporting of corrective actions generated as a result of various Food Safety Department programs. Lead efforts to direct and effectively close out deviations and other non-conformances with the various stakeholders (project management). Weekly and monthly reports of corrective action statuses. Perform audits and other activities as necessary to verify effective implementation of corrective action. Audit other food safety documentation and recordkeeping practices. Direct involvement, management and participation on key corrective action projects that are critical to food safety and regulatory compliance.
Requirements	Preferably a Bachelor of Science Degree in a Food Safety related field.  Food processing experience is desirable, but not necessary. Individual must demonstrate ability to self start and prioritize. Applicant must have prior knowledge of personal computers and various software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to communicate in English both verbal and in writing.  Conversational Spanish is desired, but not required.
