Sodexo is seeking a
General Manager of Food and Nutrition Services at Stanford
Hospital located in Palo Alto, California. Our General Manager will
oversee the patient services, retail café operations, Physicians dining
and catering services. The General Manager will oversee approximately 140
employees. Stanford University Hospital is a world renowned academic
medical center situated in Palo Alto between San Francisco and San Jose.
The hospital has 600 beds, over 2000 nurses and 2000 medical staff.

experience and are metric driven metric driven. Food Services is a shared service for both Stanford Hospital and the
adjacent Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (235 beds).

candidates should be Certified Dietary Managers (CDM), RD's or have a bachelors degree in
Directs all contract management service operations at a
single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains
cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel.
Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages
through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person
assigned to a one client account.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 4 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
