Job Description

Scientist- Meat Applications This position within Kraft Food Ingredients, a division of Kraft Food Service, provides an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer responsive business and encourages innovative idea leadership. This candidate will have the opportunity to broaden and strengthen various technical skills. Responsibilities: Plans & implements assigned projects, analyzes & communicates results which assist with defining business solutions. Primary responsibilities are developing meat & poultry applications relevant to modern processing techniques & savory flavor delivery systems (flavor match,cost reduction, etc). In addition,maintain GMP lab, lab production schedule, sanitation schedule, preventive maintenance on equipment & lab supply inventories. This individual will interface with external customers, KFIC Marketing, Sales & Culinary.

Requires: BS Degree-- Food Science, Chemistry or Engineering 3-5 years in food product/process development 3-5 years in meat processing and applications development Experience with bench top meat application development Strong time management, communication, organization & presentation skills
