PhD position in nutritional science
Description:
The
Department of Food Science at the University of Arkansas is looking for an
outgoing and highly motivated PhD student interested in nutrition, obesity
and metabolic disease.
The
research will focus on the role of dietary protein and metabolic health
through the lifecycle, with an emphasis on metabolic programming. A
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or the equivalent in dietetics,
nutrition, biology or another closely related field is a
prerequisite. Experience in working with animal models and molecular
biology techniques is preferred.
The
position is available from the beginning of January 2012. Application
