Job Description: The primary responsibilities of this position are to conduct food safety related audits at various food manufacturing and distribution facilities and other related sites within the food supply chain. The audit results provide the customer assurance of the supplier’s compliance with HACCP. The audits conducted by this role will be general food safety and Goods manufacturing audits

Requirements: Strong Food Safety Audit background. Knowledge of HACCP, FDA Regulations, and GMP. Ability to identify major findings, minor findings, observations, and report information directly to the customer. Experience initiating, reviewing and approval of corrective action responses and evaluate effectiveness of implemented corrective action(s). Must be extremely detail oriented. Good writing, communication and computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel. Comfortable working as an independent contractor (1099).
