s Inc., is a family owned company based in Gardena, California that
manufactures salads. We are looking for a person who is eager to learn, as
this position is “on the job training”, Monday thru Friday, or when needed.
Opportunity for growth. The quality control / quality assurance auditor is
responsible for performing audits of the production process to ensure
product has met all in – house specifications, standards and has been
produced using good manufacturing practices (GMP’s). This position also
inspects plant areas to ensure we are in compliance with all FDA and OSHA regulations.
Essential, Functions, and Duties: Checks all paperwork from production
Checks scales, thermometers for calibration Works together with production
employees, as well as supervisors, leads, and maintenance to assemble the
lowest cost, highest quality products possible. Ensures all products are
produced to work order specifications and food safety requirements.
Monitors line and equipment cleanliness. Documents
infractions found and notifies proper personnel or mechanic. Ensures
portion control on line and documentation. Records and documents net
weights, problems and any corrective action once per period. Monitors
production runs for product quality deviations. Execute assigned food
safety, quality and continuous improvement activity requirements,
regulatory requirements and customer requirements. Oversee pest control and
sanitation and BRC standards. Upkeep all manuals: HACCP , SSOP’s, Glass,
Brittle & Plastics, Hold Manual, Product Recall, Master Sanitation,
Customer Complaints, Metal Detection, Food Defense Plan, Micro Analysis,
Outbound and Inbound Ingredient & Finished Product, Internal Audits and
