Basic Purpose

Serve as the primary point of contact across business units for assigned key customers. Provide timely, quality support services to assigned key customers and work directly with SCFS management team regarding key client needs.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Provide client consultation and advisory services through effective communication with assigned key clients regarding all NSF service areas.
  • Serve as primary point of contact during on-site client visits 
  • Follow through on all assigned key account support activities. 
  • Regularly communicate with key clients, manage inquiries and requests from key clients.
  • Provide review and ensure accuracy of reports prior to being distributed to key customers.
  • Create audits and technical reports in OASIS and NSF Online for key customers.
  • Review audit scheduling and completion to ensure that all timelines and audit requirements are met for key customers.  Reconcile the audit list and serve as a liaison with audit and support staff as necessary.
  • Generate end-of-month and quarterly reports for management including revenue and margin reports associated with assigned accounts. Identify variances and provide recommendations for improvements to SCFS management team.
  • Assist with corrective action follow-up and completion to satisfy client requirements.
  • Accurately maintain client databases such as OASIS and Nucleus.
  • Assist with the development of auditor training; assist with new auditor training and calibration processes.
  • Function as back up for direct reporting manager in their absence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelorís degree; or documented successful and significant NSF International experience and pursuing a Bachelorís degree.
  • A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience including experience in providing excellent customer service.
  • Effective oral communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work independently, follow through on all assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 5% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelorís degree in food science or a related scientific area of study.
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in project management, preferably in a technical field.
  • Work experience within the food / food safety industries.

Additional Details

Physical Demand:

  • Required to sit for long periods of time.
  • Moderate physical effort required; ability to move up to 25 lbs from one area to another.

  • Work performed in an office environment.
