JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a food industry professional to work on hot and cold beverage innovations. Your knowledge of beverage creation, formulation and flavors experience will help us provide the best products and service to our customers. The ideal candidate has proven bench experience at an ingredient supplier or beverage/food producer.

The successful candidate will help us develop new products and modify existing products as part of a talented and dedicated group of laboratory professional. Willingness to work on the bench 70% of the time is a must. This position works with sales, technical services and quality assurance to ensure development of the highest quality product combined with the right flavor profiles. Routine interface with purchasing on costing optimization through new and alternative ingredients is expected. Our laboratory staff provides the crucial link to our long term strategies and customer development. This role will ultimately help us grow our core product line as well as new product platforms.

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Training

A Bachelor's degree in food science or a closely related field is required

One to three (1 to 3) years of experience in the development of customized beverage or food products is expected
